Utrecht is the place to shop. Hoog Catharijne, the largest and most central indoor shopping centre in the Netherlands, is of course well known. But at least as much fun is shopping at one of the fashionable and sophisticated shops along the canals, in the small and pleasant side streets or the luxurious department stores and fashion shops around the Vredenburg. The shops in the centre are regularly open on Sundays. The dates for 2007 are:

14 January, 4 February, 4 March, 1 April, 10 June, 1 July, 5 August, 2 September, 7 October, 4 November and all Sundays in December.

Tip: Combine Sunday Shopping with a stay at the Best Western Hotel Utrecht!
